Maureen Welby McNichols

Maureen Welby McNicholsMaureen Welby McNichols grew up in a big Irish family in West Side. One of thirteen children, she has always valued family and her community. Maureen is married to the love of her life, Pat McNichols, and they have two children, Michael & Keleena. She is the President of the Betty Welby Foundation, dedicated to the memory of her late mother, which helps feed and clothe members of the community in need. A former hair stylist, Maureen now works as an administrative assistant for CPR in Dunmore. Her favorite pastimes include gardening, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. She combines these passions each Saturday when she whips up a batch of soup, often from vegetables in her garden, which she hands out to family, friends, and neighbors. Maureen’s generous nature extends to the broader community, as well. She is an active member of St. Lucy’s Church, at which she serves as vice president of the Altar and Rosary Society, a eucharistic minister, and lector.
