StorySlam judge Laurie McMillan is an associate professor in the English Department at Marywood University. She teaches a variety of writing and literature courses. A Boston native, Laurie did her undergraduate work at Brandeis University. She then lived in the Pittsburgh area for ten years while earning her Ph.D. at Duquesne University. Laurie currently lives in Clarks Summit with her husband and two children.
