Dr. Michael D. Friedman is a Professor in the McDade Center for Literary and Performing Arts at the University of Scranton. In his research, he specializes in Shakespeare in Performance, both on stage and on screen. He has directed five productions of Shakespearean comedies, and he has acted in or served as the dramaturg for several more. He is also the author of the children’s book The Legend of Bubby the Kid. He lives in Scranton’s Hill Section with his beautiful wife Cheryl and their two talented children, Rachael and Casey.
