Kim Giombetti grew up on Jessup’s Nanny Goat Hill section and went to Martin J. Loftus Elementary School where Londi Castellani saw to it that she safely crossed Ward Street. Kim spent 6th grade in St. Stanislaus’ basement and the rest of her schooling at Valley View, PSU and Syracuse Law School. Following law school she spent four years in Rochester, NY’s southern Italian community and introduced their southern Italian drawl to Jessup. A turning point occurred in 1994 when she was run out of Jessup and settled in Peckville with her three girls as close to the river as possible.
