Dave Valvano is the son of Rocco Valvano, former long time mayor of Jessup, and the brother of Beverly Valvano Merkel, the current mayor. He is a member of the St. Ubaldo society and runner for the Family of St. Anthony. Dave is married to Michele, and together they have three children and five stepchildren. He is currently the Chief of Staff for State Representative Farina. Dave is a lifelong resident of Jessup…except for a brief time in Archbald where he stuck it out as the only house with Ubaldo Day decorations.
