Daye Pope has been organizing since age 14, when she helped start the first LGBTQ student group at her high school in small town Iowa. She currently serves as the Transgender Rights Organizer with Equality Pennsylvania, working with her community around the state to advocate for equality for transgender Pennsylvanians. As a transgender woman herself, Daye hopes to build momentum for trans equality based on a strong foundation of listening.
