Corrine is a passionate member of the Family of St. George and provides space for the team to have their traditional pre-race pep talk on her property near the start of the race. Because of the numerous fires that curiously targeted the local town high schools, Corrine was not able to graduate from Jessup High School, but instead had to attend classes in the church basement until the opening of Valley View High School.
